Shipping Policy

Where we ship We ship within the United States and to most international destinations. Some countries are excluded due to carrier restrictions or sanctions. If your country doesn't appear at checkout, we currently don't ship there.

Processing and production times

Many of our products are made to order, which means production happens after your order is placed. Production times vary by product:

  • Apparel, stickers, and print-on-demand merchandise: 3–7 business days for production, then handed to the carrier
  • CDs (standard editions): 10–14 business days for production and processing before shipping
  • Vinyl records: 4–6 weeks for production before shipping
  • Signed and limited edition items: 5–10 business days for signing, numbering, and packaging
  • Digital downloads: delivered instantly via email after order confirmation

Please read this before ordering: Vinyl records and CDs are produced on demand. We don't keep large quantities in stock, which is why production times are longer than typical retail items. By placing an order for these products, you acknowledge and accept the production timelines listed above. We're not able to expedite vinyl or CD production.

Shipping time (after production is complete)

Once production is complete and your order is handed to the carrier, standard shipping times are:

  • United States: 3–7 business days
  • Canada: 7–14 business days
  • United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand: 10–21 business days
  • Rest of world: 14–30 business days

These are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Delivery can be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, weather, holidays, and circumstances outside our control.

Total time from order to delivery

Combining production and shipping, expect:

  • Apparel, stickers, signed items (US): 1–3 weeks
  • Standard CDs (US): 3–4 weeks
  • Vinyl records (US): 5–7 weeks
  • International orders: add 1–3 additional weeks to the above estimates depending on destination

Shipping costs Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the items in your order. International rates are calculated in real time by USPS and DHL based on package weight and destination.

Customs duties and import taxes (international orders) International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees assessed by their country's customs authority. These charges are not included in our shipping rates and are billed separately by the carrier or customs office upon delivery. We're unable to predict or calculate these charges in advance, as they vary by country and order value.

If you refuse to pay customs charges and the package is returned to us or abandoned by customs, we are not able to issue a refund.

Tracking You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order is handed to the carrier. Orders containing multiple products may ship separately from different fulfillment facilities, each with its own tracking number. Please don't worry if part of your order arrives before the rest — vinyl and CDs typically follow apparel and other items due to the longer production windows.

Mixed orders (apparel + vinyl/CDs) If your order contains both fast-fulfillment items (apparel, stickers, signed items) and longer-production items (vinyl, standard CDs), the items will ship separately as each becomes available. We do not hold faster-shipping items to combine with longer-production items. International customers should expect that mixed orders will arrive in separate packages at separate times, each subject to its own customs processing.

Lost, stolen, or undelivered packages Once a package leaves our fulfillment facility, it's in the carrier's hands. We're not responsible for packages marked delivered by the carrier but reported missing.

  • Domestic packages: If your tracking shows a delivery issue, contact the carrier directly to file a claim.
  • International packages: If tracking has not updated in over 21 days and the package has not been delivered, contact us at thebootscootinsissies@gmail.com.

Incorrect shipping addresses Please review your shipping address carefully at checkout. We're not able to make changes once an order has entered processing. Orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer are not eligible for refund or replacement. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, you'll be responsible for any reshipment costs.
